100 kN Universal Testing Machine (UTM-100) This versatile machine is based on a 100 kN capacity hydraulically-driven load-frame and was designed to meet the needs of laboratories wishing to carry out a range of tests on either bound or unbound pavement construction materials.

An integrated control and data acquisition system (CDAS) provides accurate force ordisplacement waveform generation and control and enables automatic sequencing of test procedures.
Windows-based PC software provides a user-friendly interface with the system.
A temperature cabinet designed specifically for the UTM-100 provides adequate space for the load frame, a wide range jigs and fixtures for various specimen dimensions, and room to spare for specimen conditioning. To minimise the lab floor-space required heating and cooling is built into the base of the cabinet. Facilities are also provided tointroduce liquid nitrogen, where lower temperature operation is required.
